I must have a hankering for Ferris wheel shots at the moment. The black and white treatment on this is terrific. I will try and choose something other than a huge round thing tomorrow.

World Press Photo ’09
If you happen to be in Sydney in the next few weeks, I would suggest you get along to the World Press Photo ’09 exhibition at The Mitchell Galleries, NSW State library. I went to last years and it was great. I have been told by a number of people that have been to this years, it is even better. Highly recommended.

In what can only be described as a huge turn around when compared to the previous administration, President Obama has given access to Pete Souza to shoot and publish on Flickr, some very candid behind the scenes shots. Todays pick from the grab bag that is Flickr is this terrific photo of Sydney’s Centrepoint tower. Very simple, but a very pleasing photo.
